The social and economic objective of this project is very important for the region, in particular with the possibility of generalization at the national level, in particular:

• Determination of the impact of industrial activity on the quality of life in the city of Touggourt.
• Reduce the amount of water used in irrigation by minimizing the permeability of agricultural sandy soils by adding an improvement (hydrogel) when using in the potato plantation in the city of El Oued.
• Reduce the cost of electrical energy for pumping water.

• Minimize the permeability of sandy agricultural soils by adding a hydrogel improvement in the city of Ouargla.

• Sensitize farmers to the importance of scientific studies at university level and other effects.
• Reduce excessive water consumption by reducing the permeability of agricultural soils by using hydrogen in the cultivation of potatoes in the city of El Oued.
• Determine the impact of industrial activity on the quality of life in the city of Touggourt.
• Minimize the permeability of agricultural sandy soils by adding hydrogel enhancement in arid and semi-arid areas.
